the storyline is about how you went to a beach when you were younger, and then drowned but fortunately got saved. i’m not sure if my essay is narrative but i hope it still helps!
// It was a marvellous and unforgettable sight to behold. The sound of the waves splashing was calming and soothing, relieving my stress and worries about school. Looking around, I saw the effervescent and vivacious smiles of many people at the beach, the scintillating and sparkling sand which lay beneath my feet. It was a family outing to celebrate my parents’ anniversary. Everything seemed perfect. How I wished that time would stop, so that I would get to enjoy and cherish that moment forever.
// As the weather was rather scorching, I wanted to look for something cool to indulge myself in. The waves caught my eye. I took one step at a time, and soon, I felt the coolness of the waves. Eventually, I went deeper and deeper into the waves. What happened in the next few seconds occurred in the spur of a moment. I felt something strong pushing me away from the edge of the beach, causing me to cough and gasp for air. “ Help! ” I exclaimed, while flailing my arms around in the water.
// Moments later, I regained consciousness, coughing out salty water. I was still alive, thanks to a lifeguard who had seen me drowning and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation ( CPR ) on me. My family rushed to me instantaneously, hugging me, thanking the lifeguard continuously. Since then, I swore to myself not to do anything without my parents’ supervision.
// It has been years since that incident had happened. However, it is etched deeply in my mind, something that I’m unable to forget.
