Ohm's law deals with the relation between voltage and current in an ideal conductor. It states that: Potential difference across a conductor is proportional to the current that pass through it. It is expressed as V=IR. The answer most likely would be resistance or current. It depends on what is the unit of the 240 value. If it is ampere then we can calculate for the resistance. However, when 240 is in units of ohms then we can calculate the current.

Assuming that the 240 is in amperes and using Ohm's law, the resistance within the circuit can be calculated.

What is Ohm's law?

According to Ohm, the voltage within a circuit has a direct relationship with the current moving in the circuit.

Mathematically: V =IR where V= voltage, I = current, and R = resistance.

In this case, the voltage and the current are given. Thus, the resistance can be calculated:

R = V/I = 110/240 = 11/24 ohm
