I have to give an impromptu speech for speech and debate, and a portion of the topics are about things like ghosts, vampires, etc. These are all things that are scary but are not real. What do you think my contentions should be if I am talking about things that are scary but not real, and that get in the way for some people. Can someone please give me three good sections I could talk about for 5 minutes. (They are basically 3 ideas for me to talk about).

Respuesta :

There are things that are scary but not real as it is the fear and subconsciousness and and the understanding of reality.

Explanation:

There are various types of horror and thriller movies and books that illustrates the idea of ghosts and haunting elements that could really spike the people. However, though there are things that are scary they are not real as it isn't exactly the idea of ghost that proves its presences but the idea of ghost that is set in a human's mind.

Fear is also an emotion.

Fear can be considered one of the most negative emotions among all, it has the ability to raise many mental disorders and panic attacks to various extreme. The idea of abrupt sound and sudden character entrance enhances the mind of the audience to ignite the inside fear. The idea of creepiness and themes and props that can taunt the fear that was never there in the first place. The idea of placing the idea of a ghost to be a real aspect of the world initiate the idea of its presence so real.

The action of subconscious mind.

Sometimes few ideas that is witnessed and believed to be forgotten is not what really happens. If it is a scene that has affected or captivated the eyes and meant to leave the conscious mind, it actually ends up going straight to the unconscious mind and reveals itself in the ways of dreams and sometimes illusions. The idea of believing something that is not real and ending up hallucinating is the reactions of the subconscious mind.

Understanding the Reality.

Movies half the time portrays the reality of the world but people sometimes believe everything in the movies are real. The same with scary things, the idea of fake and real. People fail to understand the theory of movies and books and believe the actions that is portrayed to them. People apply the movie ideas into reality and understand the wrong ideas. Scary things are not real unless one learns to differentiate between fake and reality.
