Humans have 46 chromosomes in the diploid cell. How many chromosomes would be found in each gamete and in a zygote resulting from normal fertilization?
well in a gamete, you would fine 23 sex cells because gamete count is half the somatic count (which in this case is 46). in a zygote however, it would be 92 because of the four sets in a zygote i’m pretty sure. if it’s not 92 for zygote, it’s 46.
