A biopsy is a procedure in which a sample of cells is taken from the body and analyzed If you were performing the analysis what features would indicate to you class=

Respuesta :

Option A, C, D and E are applied.

Explanation:

Cancer is a disease in humans where there's uncontrolled cell division which doesn't stop in absence of a inhibition.

Cancer cells do show different characteristics which are different from the normal cells. Firstly, they doesn't show contact inhibition. They don't stop dividing inspite of contact with the surrounding cell from each side. This results in the Tumour or nodule formation.

Secondly, they secrete factors which supports growth of new blood vessels around the tumours. They are called angiogenesis promoting factors.

Thirdly, they divide very rapidly, much higher than normal cells. So the biopsy slide with frequent mitotic figures are very common. And these cells lack telomerase, which leads them to live much longer than what is expected lifespan of a normal cell. They don't even need a growth signal for their division.

The features that exemplify the patient having Cancer would be:

D). Cells undergo more mitosis than usual.

E). Cells divide even when there are no growth factor signals.

What is Cancer?

Cancer is described as a disease in which the cells belonging to a tissue remain out of control and penetrate.

In order to signal this disease, cells may contain extremely high division of cells, i.e. 'mitosis.'

This division of cells continues despite not having any signal from the factors of growth.

Thus, options D and E are the correct answers.
