Here are some drawbacks to use of nuclear power;

  • Radioactive wastes in spent rods are very difficult to dispose. These waves are massive environmental concerns before plants can be cited.
  • it requires lot of the technological knowledge to  built and maintain.
  • Nuclear fall out from the plant be very terrible such as seen in Chernobyl.
  • The fuels used are not as abundant as fossil fuels on earth.
