You are not allowed to take any test if you are using a programmable calculator. A programmable calculator can perform a preprogrammed sequence of mathematical operations, very much like a computer. You are only allowed to use pocket-size calculators which cannot be preprogrammed, or the person in charge of taking the test can believe that you are cheating.
