The property of addition the fact that count of the money in the jar doesn't change from order of change added is commutative property of addition.
What is commutative property of addition?
The commutative property of addition says that it doesn't matter how we add any amount of numbers, the result of the addition would be same for each ordering.
For two numbers x and y, we have:
x + y = y + x
Thus, if we take 3 numbers as a,b and c, then:
a + b + c = b + a + c = b + c + a = a + c + b = c + a + b = c + b + a
And so on for any amount of numbers.
The changes can be added in any order, since the total amount of changes added in the jar is sum of amounts of changes putted in it, which won't be changed by the order in which changes were added.
