Vladimir Lenin laid the policy of communism in Russia who was the leader of Bolsheviki party. He applied Marxist in his government which sustained for two years and he was overthrown by Joseph Stalin. Communism is a branch of socialism which envisaged equality of all people and wealth must be equally get distributed to all the people. Lenin who advocated this communist policy who led the Bolshevik party slowly succumbed to illness and Stalin came to power. Power corrupts the heart of the best men and it was proved when millions of people in the camps of gulags were killed.

Though communism advocated equality in course of time it took away many lives and inflicted damage to the property as well. Stalinism is an indirect dictatorship that existed for thirty years in Russia. He ruled by terror and many citizens from his own country died during his reign. His five year plan and policy of collectivization which forced the farmers to make the government take control of their farms were not liked and they refused to give up. Those who refused the policy of government were sent in exile or shot dead. He expanded the system espionage which encouraged the citizens to spy on another. If they refused, they will be sent to gulag systems.
