When you are doing this start with what you’re persuading the person to do or believe in and give a brief description as to why they should do or believe this. However, if you’re doing an argumentative essay so you are persuading someone that something is better than another you wouldn’t state your claim in the introduction and don’t bias people, just give a general idea of the subject all together. After, you can argue the opposing point then argue against that with your own claim (persuasion).
