If we wanted to avoid using a non–renewable resource, because we do not want to harm the environment, we could burn _____ to produce electricity. biomass coal natural gas petroleum

Respuesta :

we could burn biomass to produce electricity. it is not a non-renewable resource

Biomass

Coal, natural gas, and petroleum are all non-renewable resources.  Biomass is  considered a renewable resource because it depends on agricultural waste and other things like wood, instead of coal, petroleum, etc.  Biomass is considered to be a fossil fuel replacement, with the consequences of releasing carbon dioxide when burned.
