When we are little we see the way our parents or elders act and that tells our brain that is the correct way to act. As we grow up the things they tell us we will become is what we think will happen and so we do that in fear that we will disappoint them.
Children tends to mimic their parents. This can even be without realization.It are often through genetics or simply the very fact that you simply notice their habits and your brain triggers you to try to to an equivalent habits.

There are 2 main reasons-
Children inherit the specific genetic characteristics from their parents,which can include reasoning and intelligence abilities,preferences for various activities.
Children also adopt some learned habits from their parents due to living in the same environment.These may include dieting behaviors, sleep patterns and emotional behavior.
Therefore, that's the reason why children have their same habits and mannerisms as their parents.
