Answer:
No , but it can be used to augment other neurological activities in the brain.
Explanation:
The brain is a complex and mysterious organ which functions on its own. Presently, no machine can replace the damaged parts of the brain completely. However, with technological advancement, science is trying it’s best to work out a solution for making this possible.
There are some brain stimulation activities that are being performed in order to manipulate the brain. Even though science isn’t able to replace the entire cerebellum with some machine part, medical science has found a way to place electrodes in the mind of depression patients for a cure.
Brain stimulation therapies help in treating some medical disorders that cannot be treated with medicines. Through these therapies, the brain is given electricity by planting the electrodes within the brain or on the scalp.
Some of the brain stimulating activities are vagus nerve stimulation, deep brain stimulation, repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation and magnetic seizure therapy. These are used for medically treating mental disorders. Despite everything, science hasn’t found a way to successfully replace brain parts with machine parts.
Explanation:
the brain is a very complex organ, controlling not just your physical actions but also all your emotions. obviously all of us know what a brain is. Our brain is much too complex for any technology yet found, to replace any part of it. It is true that there are no artificial objects that are suitable to replace our brain. Brain is a good healer on it's own. it has extreme self healing powers. but with the growing risks of life, brain is pretty much exposed to danger and its healing powers are useless in front of it's possible dangers. there have been cases of transplants of brain where the actual brain had been injured, and was replaced by another. but no, parts of the brain that has been damaged cannot be replaced by computational devices, YET. it is possible that in the not so far future it can be possible, but in these years all we can imagine is another E.D.I.T.H in spiderman
