Respuesta :

B.) create more IP addresses

we’ve run out of all the possible addresses to be made with IPv4

IP is an acronym for Internet Protocol. Several types of IPs exist; all of which serve the same purpose, i.e. they serve as a guide to data being sent to the internet.

IPv6 was developed to create more IP addresses.

The need to use more IP address gave birth to the development of IPv6.  This is evident because the previous version of IP before IPv6 (i.e. IPv4) can only accommodate 4.3 billion address while IPv6 can accommodate up to [tex]7.9 \times 10^{28}[/tex] addresses.

IPv6 also has the highest number of bits (i.e. 128 bits).

Hence, the purpose is (b) more IP addresses
