The Neutrality and Isolation acts were reinforced in 1930’s, to prevent United States to get involved in wars. It’s main intention was to prevent any kind of export related to ammunition and weapons.
The law insisted that any assignment found with weapons or war items it would be confiscated. It also warned that the U.S citizens if they wish to travel to any war zone that would be of their own risk and the government will not hold a stake on this.
