Wave's velocity is the distance traversed by a periodic or cyclic motion per unit time (in any direction).
Wave velocity generally refers to speed of the wave, but properly velocity refers to both speed and the direction of the wave.
Velocity of a wave is equal to the product of the frequency(i.e no of vibration per second) of the wave and its wavelength and it is independent of its intensity.
Result: Wave velocity includes direction of the wave.
