Role of a president in passing bills, approving treaties and creating the cabinet:

  • The President is responsible for the enforcement and execution of the laws framed by Congress.
  • A law passed by Congress should be presented to the President. The president takes 10 days for either approval or disapproval.
  • Then, the president signs all the bill which is acceptable and he makes them as law. Also, he votes a bill by returning the bill to the house.
  • The president own the power to appoint people for working with him/her to run the government and executing the laws of the country.
  • The members belonging to the president's cabinet advise the president on vital issues which is going to be faced by him/her.
  • The 'Executive Branch of our government' is also lead by them.
