y = -3x + 3 and y = 12 x - 4
Since both expressions ara y values, equating both will give;
-3x + 3 = 12x - 4
-3x - 12x = -4 - 3
-15x = -7
x = 7/15
Substitute x = 7/15 into any of the equatons;
y = -3x + 3
y = -3(7/15) + 3
y = -7/5 + 3
y = 8/5
Hence the solution as an ordered pair is (7/15, 8/15)
