Respuesta :

Answer: B. Ingesting too much alcohol leads to vomiting.

Explanation:

Homeostasis is the ability of the body to maintain the internal condition of the body constant concerning the changes occurring in the external environment.

Alcohol is a toxin, it can upset the stomach. Its metabolism is facilitated by the liver. The ingestion of alcohol can cause ulceration and inflammation of the lining of the esophagus and the stomach. Alcohol produces pain, pain on eating, irritation in the lining of the stomach and heartburn. Alcohol produces acids in the stomach which will lead to vomit and nausea. Thus by vomiting the stomach tries to eliminate the excess of alcohol from the body to reduce the toxic effects of alcohol. Hence, the stomach maintains the homeostasis in the body.
