Sometimes, the more logical decision can hurt yourself if you do not consider your emotions. For example, if purely based on facts, an average student should study a considerable amount so achieve high grades in school. When emotions are in play, the student may be overly stressed or depressed and need a break in order to achieve higher results. Although this is also a factor that can be logically considered, it is also emotional.
