When I was younger I really wanted to get into college and take the course of my dreams, it was always difficult because my family is poor and I didn't think it was possible, but I studied hard and did my best to get into college and it worked out but I wouldn't have if I had not tried.
Motivation is the mechanism that drives the human being towards the accomplishment of his goals.
According to Megginson, the theory of positive reinforcement states that behavior followed by satisfactory consequences tends to be repeated, while behavior followed by unsatisfactory consequences tends not to be repeated. In this way, behavior is influenced or directed the way the environment (organization) wants it. Positive reinforcement, when properly applied, can be very powerful in influencing motivation. When positive reinforcement is done through praise, it is essential that they are sincere and based on behaviors or results that deserve them. Trying to flatter someone without sincerity can be harmful.
