Also, by having Serbia in the EU, the Eu will pretty much secure the Balkan from conflict, as it is one of the countries that has tensions will few others.
Serbia's labor force is competitive and its wage demands are much lower than in the West, so lot of companies from the EU will be investing in Serbia. This Balkan country produces very large quantity of wheat with high quality, which is a highly demanded product in the EU.
Last but not least, Serbia has a strong military for a country of its size, and it can contribute a lot when it comes to the safety in the EU, as well as for the missions of the EU in several parts of the world.
