On one hand you have people that own exotic pets, the other, people do not want them to own exotic pets.
You could argue for people with exotic pets that: they are fed well, treated like a regular pet with care and love, and that the exotic animal they own is not registered as an endangered species and or a illegal animal to have in the first place.
The other side: the species they own is endangered and illegal to own, they are not meant to be treated as domestic animals, they are exotic for a reason, and you could argue that other options for pets are available that are more suited to be a domesticated animal.
