Let  [tex]\frac{1}{5} x+y=\frac{6}{5}[/tex]   be equation 1.

Solving the equation, we get  x+5 y=6   as equation 1

Similarly for equation 2, [tex]\frac{1}{10} x+\frac{1}{3} y=\frac{7}{10}[/tex]

we get, 3x + 10y = 21 as equation 2

Solving both equation,

Multiplying equation 1 by 3  

[tex]3 x+15 y=18[/tex]

[tex]3 x+10 y=21[/tex]

and subtracting both the equations

We get [tex]5y = 7; y = 7/5[/tex]

Substituting the value of y in equation 1, we get  [tex]x + 5(7/5) = 6[/tex]

  [tex]x+7=6[/tex]

  [tex]x = 6-7 = -1[/tex]
