Respuesta :

Answer:

1- i think A but i’m not sure

2- E

3- D

4- A

5- D

Answer:

1. E.  A, B, and D

2. E.  All of the Above

3.  D. Both A and C

4. A. Hardening and cementing of sediment

5. C. Volcanic

Explanation:

Minerals are natural occurring inorganic solid with a crystalline structure and definite chemical formula. Option A, B and D meet the criteria of a mineral. Minerals must be devoid of organic matter.

Minerals can be classified into various way when you study various physical properties it possess examples of these properties includes color, streak, luster , hardness, cleavage and fracture . The streak talks about the color of the mineral in powdered form. Luster talks about the reflection of light off a mineral surface. Cleavage talks about how the mineral breaks.

Luster and color can be easily observable but are not very reliable to classify a mineral.  For example hematite possess variety of colors. Luster mainly classify minerals base on the reflective and penetrative nature of light to it surface. Luster is unreliable in giving a diagnostic property to minerals like hematite.

Sedimentary rocks are formed from sediments. These sediments are disintegrated smaller particles of preexisting rocks .The individual sediments are later cemented of bonded to form sedimentary rocks like sandstone etc

Igneous rocks are formed from molten magma. But when this molten magma creeps or erupt to the earth surface as lava and solidifies , volcanic or extrusive igneous rocks are formed.
