- Amygdala,
- Hippocampus,
- Thalamus,
- Hypothalamus,
- Basal ganglia and
- Cingulate gyrus.

- Amygdala controls the emotional responses.
- hippocampus helps in making of new memories about the past experiences.
- Thalamus also controls emotional reactivity.
- Hypothalamus controls the hunger and sexual desires.
- Basal ganglia controls the voluntary motor movements i.e. eye movements, learning etc. Cingulate gyrus controls the autonomic motor function.
