The braking force of the car  is 39510 N

Explanation

Given:

Mass  of the car = 1756 kg

Time s= seconds

Initial velocity u = 45 m/s

To find:

The braking force of the car=?

Solution:

The equation of motion is v=u+at

Where

u = initial veloctity

v = final velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

let the final velocity v=0 m/s

substituting the values  we get

v=u+at

[tex]0=45+(a)(2)[/tex]

[tex]-45=2a[/tex]

[tex]a=\frac{-45}{2}[/tex]

[tex]a=-22.5m/s[/tex]

 Now according to Newton's second law of the braking force can be calculated as

|F|=|m| |a|

F=|1756| |-22.5|

F= 1756*22.5

F=39510 N
