The population of deer which is living in a meadow of 10 by 10 miles is more at risk of predation by hunters during the season.
What is Predation?
It is a biological interaction where one organism i.e. predator kills and eats the other organism i.e. prey.
As the area of the meadow increases, the chances of predation also increase, because it depends on the territory of other organisms which is living and adapted as their own habitat. A meadow of 5 by 2 miles that has 50 deer increases the intraspecific competition while a meadow of 10 by 10 miles increases the risk of predation by hunters.
Therefore, the population of deer which is living in a meadow of 10 by 10 miles is more at risk of predation by hunters during the season.
