If I were the female Kobi, I would prefer to be in the zoo. Although I would be lonely, I would be healthy and protected, free from predators and dangers in the wild. I could give birth to my cubs in a safe area, and provide for them without threat. I would also be fed and nourished myself, being healthy and strong. And when I was ready, perhaps my cubs and I could be released back into the wild or help repopulate the species in the future.
