Respuesta :

So sorry I'm late.

1. The opposite of a barrier system would be: money economy

Agricultural estate run by a lord would be: a manor

Peasant legally bound to the land: these are called serfs

City merchants and artisans: burghers

2. Spain pursued a policy of religious conformity during the Middle Ages. I believe this had to do with the Catholic Church, along with tons of other things in the Middle Ages.

3. The War of the Roses. This was fought by two familiar who thought they should throne England and lasted 30 years.

4. Increase in the number of workers was NOT a consequence of the plague. People were dying so it sent a decline in the population and it became harder to find workers.

5. Vassal. A vassal was someone who had land but owned the land owner for land basically. Journeyman, apprentice, and master are all part of the guild training system.

6. More horses. This makes no sense, horses would not increase the population whatsoever. Technology, more peace, and more incoming food made populations rise.

7. Objects connected with saints: relics

Christian rites: sacraments

Territories in central Italy controlled by the pope: these are called Papal States

Hersey court or holy office: inquisition

8. The monopolization of women by the elite. The decline of slavery lead to more population. Less wars and more peace lead to less deaths. A milder climate lead to people dying less from weather conditions.

9. I would say the crusades continually carved out greater portions of the Middle East, until most of the land as far as Persia was under the control of Western knights. The crusades took place all across the Middle East and lots of land was controlled by Western knights.
