The three-field system was where a couple fields would be cultivated then another would be left to fallow. Then the rotation of the crops would behind. So it would be 1.
The two-field system was where one would be during one season while the other one would be to fallow and vice versa. So 3.

So since people had to get together to operate schools and hospitals I'm pretty sure that would be guilds. 8.
