Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Connecticut are the colonies that make up the new England. In the the southern and the middle colonies there were some characteristics shared by the people of the new and they lacked the experiences of diversity. The wide majority of the people in new England were Whites, extremely religious people who spoke English and they also enjoyed having large families. PGC
