the individual would be affected as they could be a victim to gun violence and lose their life, have a loved one lose a life, or face major injury. however, the country at large is affected because when major gun violence occurs, you see widespread panic in the media and these spurts of “lets take action and make a change!”. all in all,you see more action taken when the country is affected more than the individual.
