Petro glyphs are the rock carvings made on a stone to shape an image on it. It was worldwide rock art and many inscription and depiction of images are made on a stone. Petro in Greek means stone and glyph means image.

Cuenus means wedge in Latin. It is a form of writing on soft clay with the help of a stylus. Wedge shaped characters are marked on a clay and this type of writing began in Mesopotamia.

After writing on the soft clay, it is heated on a huge oven so that the characters are preserved as a record for a long time.
