Slowed technological progress was a result of the Islamic empires cultural conservatism

The slow growth in technology was the result of the Islamic empires' cultural conservatism. In the Early Islamic world both Islamic empire and Islamic religion expanded. The Islamic religion was founded by Prophet Muhammad in 610 CE. The first city which introduced with the Islamic religion was Mecca (Saudi Arabia of present time).

Soon after this, the religion spread across the region. Middle East and North Africa were the countries which adopted Islamic religion throughout the middle ages.  At present, after Christianity, Islam is the second most following religion by the people across the world.  There is inequality in the application of Islamic in different culture and traditions.
