All the answers I don’t understand and need help in math to get my grades up because she’s my cheer coach and I want to pass her grade and please give me the work if you answer this

1) If Malia has $10 to spend, and she buys 2 ice creams, each costing $2.35, then you'd have 2.35 * 2 = $4.70. 10 - 4.70 = $5.30. She spent $4.70 on the ice creams, and she has $5.30 left.

2) If Mr. Jonson has a $100 order for french fries, and 1 french fry costs $3.50, then you'd do 100/3.50 = (about) 29. They'd make $101.5 and then would have enough to pay for the order. So, they would have to sell at least 29 orders of french fries to pay for the order.

3) If 60 bottles of soda weighs 24lbs (pounds), then you'd do 24/60 = 0.4. So, each bottle of soda weighs 0.4lbs.

4) No, the chips were not profitable. They sold 21 chips, each at $1.75. 1.75*21 = $36.75. 36.75 is less than what they bought the chips for, therefore they lost money. (They lost $11.35, to be exact)

5) The cost of fries and soda together is $6. They sell it for a redused price of 0.75 off, which makes it $5.25. The council pays $2.05 (Adding the 0.82 and 1.20 together). 5.25 - 2.05 = 3.20. 3.20 * 45 = $144. So, if they sell 45 combos, they would make $144.
