JUST READ MY 2 PARAGRAPHS AND GIVE FEEDBACK. ALL I NEED IS PROOFREADING.
just read and tell me how my writing is so far.
What to look for is
1. A clear introduction providing an overview of the first section of the novel.
2. Paragraph two should discuss the utopian aspects with evidence from the text.---

The setting of the novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury is a utopia in which the 30-year-old firefighter, Guy Montag lives. Montag is in a society where everything people do is fun and entertaining without any question. Guy Montag in being a firefighter is responsible for burning every book and also houses that contain them. However, Montag notices he is not happy with the way things are with his job, his wife Millie, and his surroundings. After meeting Clarrise McClellan, his neighbor, his curiosity begins to fill his mind. Montag's wife doesn’t seem to care about how Montag feels or what he does for her. Even though Montag and Millie have been married for years, Montag realizes, after the overdose incident, that he doesn't know much about his wife at all. Montag now wants to quit his job. Montag's boss Captain Beatty, has been suspicious with Montag and comes over to his house before Montag can call in sick. After Captain Beatty’s visit Montag confesses to Millie about his book stash. Once Millie panics, Montag tries to explain to her that having these books can be beneficial. Once they know what's inside the books they will destroy them together. Captain Beatty seemingly knows how Montag is feeling and knows what he is hiding.
To start, this society may seem like a utopia at first, because everyone gets to do what they want and have fun without any consequences. Guy Montag's house has three walls that are tv screens. Millie likes to enjoy watching her tv family for most of the day. People also ride jet cars at top speeds on the road. Schools are mainly athletic activities and keeping students engaged, they have television classes. Captain Beatty stated "don't we keep them moving, don't we give them fun? That's all we live for, isn't it" (Bradbury 56). This tells the reader that all there is to do is fun, and to enjoy life.

Respuesta :

The introduction sentence isn’t very clear. But it should go something like this “The setting of the novel Fahrenheit 451 is set on a Utopian society in which Guy Montag lives”. The second sentence is pretty good and simple. The 3rd could use more description “Guy is a firefighter who is responsible for the burning of every book (What book? What does it talk about? Why does he have to burn it?) and also the houses of individuals who keep these books with them. Also put a ; on “...things are with his job; his neighbor...”

In the first paragraph I’d be best if the first 6 sentences belong to the first paragraph and the rest you use it for the 2nd paragraph and start with “Montag decides to quit his job with firm determination” As for the 2nd paragraph eliminate the transition “To start” and use something else. Also, it’s very nice just fix the grammatical errors like tv family and put “family TV” and something confuses me: Do people really ride jet cars on the streets? Or do they ride the jet cars on the skies? I think I’d be nice if you clarified this. Also, use more quotes in paragraph 2, it’s nice but you only used one to prove your veracity.

Looks great! Awesome job
