Therefore, the child's final count is inconsistent and inaccurate. What would you plan to help this child develop a better grasp of one-to-one correspondence?

Answer: I will lead him with an example that the child can copy after I have finished , so I will count the object before him and then give him the opportunity to repeat after my counts.

Begining with the same answer and climbing my way up .

Sometimes it is hard for the child to learn new things all alone and on their own but when the answer is being modelled it gives them the guide and the path to follow.
