The cold war was the fight between United States and Soviet Union (USSR) without arms. The cold war took its place after the World War II ended. As is clear from its name, it is not a war of arms and weapons but a war confined to threats.
No real war was fought in this war. It was limited to indirect war only. In this war, both the superpowers kept their ideological differences prominent. It was a type of diplomatic war that was based on the efforts of the superpowers in narrow selfishness.
During World War II, the United States, Britain and Russia fought against the Germany, Italy and Japan, also known as axis nations. Very soon these differences created a terrible state of tension.
