Benjamin Ferencz was one of the men who led that case against the Nazi Regime. Basically, the ICC is the court that handles cases beyond that of a country's ability to prosecute. Crimes that are so devastating, and so in-humane, that it affected numerous countries and governments. The ICC allows the world powers to come together, and agree on punishments for these individuals.
