A person’s weight is very important in determining dosage.
One big consideration the doctors have to think about, is the certain medication and the person. Some medications, like painkillers, need to be lesser or more, depending on the pain/need for the medication. One example, if a patient is taking a low dose antidepressant, and it doesn’t seem to be working, the doctor may raise it. But, doctors usually take in consideration the medication in itself, some medications can be too strong, therefore needing a lower dose, or the complete opposite.
