Answer:
As I recently took Chemistry, ONE rule I knew I learned is from the Arrhenius Theory, I believe. The acid is ALWAYS the H+ donor and donates it to the base. And the base is ALWAYS the H+ acceptor. Therefore, we create an Acid-Base Pair. It always happens in a neutralization reaction. And DO NOT get confused about the physical properties, understand the chemical features that create the Acid and Base. Anyway, the Acid does have a sour taste and LOWER pH, usually below 7. 7 is the neutral, for example water. Bases have a bitter taste and experience higher pH, usually above 7. Lemon juices and Citrus Acids are acids and Drainers and soap are based. Hope this helps and PLEASE FOLLOW ME if you understood better! :)
Answer:
A base is a chemical or element that a simple chemical reaction that can change, a base is essentially the original substance before conducting an experiment that can change the chemical or element.
