what is racquetball?
Racquetball is a racquet sport and a team sport played with a hollow rubber ball on an indoor or outdoor court. Joseph Sobek invented the modern sport of racquetball in 1950, adding a stringed racquet to paddleball on the way to increase velocity and control.
Racquetball uses a 'racquet' that may be up to 55.88 cm long with a tear-drop stringed area. Squash uses a 'racket', and not just to be different. back in the day, English prisoners used to call an earlier version of the sport, 'Rackets. ' A squash racket is longer (up to 68.6 cm) but the stringed surface is narrower.
