Plz help meh. In a small town in Utah, 40,000 homes used to have land-line phones. If there was a 12.5% decrease, how many homes now have land-line phones?
what i did was multiply 40000 by 0.125 to find the percentage of ppl who decreased. this resulted in 5000. next u subtract 5000 by 40000 to get 35000. hope this helped!
