Yes the statement is true. DNA is foiled into chromosomes in a cell because they are coiled up with the helps of histones

That is true. DNA is coiled many times to form chromosomes.


DNA is condensed and coiled into chromosomes during the prophase of mitosis. During other times dna is in the form of chromatin(uncondensed).
