A container holds six red marbles and four green marbles. You select two marbles from the container (without replacement) what is the probability that you
will select one red marble and one green marble?

As you have 6 red and 4 green, you must add them up to make 10. The probability is out of ten.

Probability of red = 6/10 = 3/5 as there are 6 red marbles
Probability of green= 4/10= 2/5

In order to get the probability of getting both marbels from a container, you must multiply both probabilites.

6/10x 4x10 = 24/100 = 12/50 = 6/25

Or 2/5 x 3/5 makes 6/25

Hope i helped :)
