Constitutionalism- the philosophy that a nation should be regulated by a common set of laws which apply to every man. Constitutionalism greatly influenced the formation of the US constitution to ensure that every citizen received equal treatment and political voice (excluding minorities at the time).
Divine Right of Kings- the philosophy that a monarch has the godly right to rule a nation and thus, should have full control and authority over all of his subjects.
