Victims of the Holocaust were people that were targeted by the government of Nazi Germany for numerous reasons, including their ethnicity, their religion, their sexual orientations, and their political beliefs.

The most commonly mentioned group is the Jews, but there were others who were affected by this as well, such as the Ukrainians, Gypsies, Belorussians, Poles, and many others who were considered to be undesirable simply based off of race.

Of course, not everyone was executed because they necessarily were Jews, but were thought to be, or were caught trying to protect or hide them. They killed their own criminals as well.
