from this question "¿Estudias mucho?"

my answer was "Sí, yo estudias muchas."

my spanish teacher said i have to "change the ending on 'estudias' to agree with "yo"

how do i do that???

The answer is "estudio" I'm spanish that's why I know that.

It would be, "Yo estudio mucho." Since the word estudias is only for question and statements, that word would be used like this,"Tu estudias mucho!"
