evaluate the expression 6 squared parentheses 2/5 + 5 parentheses -3
![evaluate the expression 6 squared parentheses 25 5 parentheses 3 class=](https://us-static.z-dn.net/files/dee/770e12c96c491e3e1adca392974d17ab.jpg)
To start off you do what’s in parentheses
2/5 + 5 = 5 2/5 or 5.4 as a decimal
Then the exponent 6^2 which is 36
So far you have 36 (5.4) - 3
Now you multiply 36 by 5.4 which is 194.4
So now you have 194.4 - 3 which equals 191.4 which is you answer.
Hope this helped!
